Oakheart Mersea Opens its Doors

We are delighted to announce the successful grand opening of Oakheart Mersea, which took place on Friday, June 30th at 5 pm. The event was organised by the dedicated Oakheart Mersea staff in collaboration with the esteemed team at FUZE. From the balloon arch to the charcuterie cones and of course the oysters, every detail was carefully curated to ensure a welcoming experience for all attendees.

Branch director Zavek Orrin has over 13 years of agency experience and local islander knowledge. Zav assumed the role of Director for Oakheart Mersea following its acquisition as the former Blackwater Estates. Zav rounded up the event,

 “[A] fantastic evening was had by all past, current, and future clients and property professionals. Massive thanks to Megan for all her hard work organising”. 

At Oakheart Mersea, we firmly believe in placing people at the forefront of our endeavors. It is of the utmost importance to us that we build strong relationships with our community. We look forward to holding future events to strengthen these relationships.

The grand opening had a remarkable turnout of over 60 attendees throughout the night with notable figures including local solicitors, such as Lauren Ward from John Fowlers who had said: 

“Thank you again for such a fantastic event Friday, you did an incredible job at organising it!  I really enjoyed putting faces to names with lots of the staff at Oakheart which we regularly liaise with. I thought the raffle was a great idea as it’s always nice to support local charities and although I couldn’t stomach trying one, the oysters were a fabulous touch!”

The event also received commendations from local professionals and community members, including Karen and Scott:

We are proud to share that through the collective efforts of everyone involved, including the generous donations from the local businesses, we raised over £200. Oakheart Mersea has committed to doubling this amount, resulting in a total donation of £400. It gives us great pleasure to contribute all proceeds to the Mersea Island RNLI. The selection of the RNLI as Oakheart's chosen charity holds significant meaning, as they are not only an integral part of the Island community but also provide invaluable support during some of the most challenging moments in our lives.
